Revel Rascal t1000

Revel Rascal t1000

Is it a coincidence that carbon full suspension bikes that bear the name Revel , they come from small cities Carbon dale? The name is probably a coincidence, but the location is definitely not. The city is surrounded by top-notch singletrack, well-maintained polygons and trail centers, and the company's founders wanted to be as close as possible to their inspiration - the trails.

So far they are presented three models of full suspension bikes , they have their line of carbon rings , and they also dedicate a lot of their time to the development and use of Fusion-Fiber carbon, which we will talk more about another time. Revel is a company that strives for the most environmentally friendly production possible . They are aware that this is quite contradictory with the use of carbon, but they try to keep their ecological footprint as small as possible and improve the conditions for this wherever possible.

Technology

The heart of every full-suspension bike is the suspension. Revel develops its frames around the frameset CBF , which has so far been used exclusively on the bicycle brand of its "inventors" , Canfield bikes . Without going into too much detail about the CBF formula, it's basically a suspension that allows for maximum pedaling efficiency regardless of the terrain, bike position, or how intensively you use it.

In short, whether it's an uphill or downhill , the bike is being driven good . In addition to the CBF clamp , Revel boasts a special method of bonding carbon fibers , which they say is stronger, more rigid, and allows for the use of less material for the same result.

Rascal

At Loose Cycles they decided, yes as the first of their three models introduce the Rascal , as they believe it is the most versatile and most suitable for the trails we ride most often in Slovenia. It is a 29-inch bike with 130 millimeters of travel at the rear and 140 millimeters at the front . Like the other two models, the Rascal can be purchased already assembled in three different price ranges, or as just a frame with a rear shock and fork, or just a frame with a rear shock, which is what the buyer of the presented bike chose.

The Rascal frame in size L was equipped with the following components
